After having pulled off the major upset last time out, Besiktas will be looking to defy the odds once again when they face Napoli at home on Tuesday. Two weeks ago the Turkis side beat Napoli 3-2 at the San Paolo stadium in one of the biggest surprises of the Champions League season. That was the first ever match between the two sides and it was won by Besiktas especially thanks to a pair of goals from striker Vincent Aboubakar.
Besiktas are in good form and full of confidence as well since they are still unbeaten in all competitions this season. Their Champions League campaign started with consecutive 1-1 draws at Benfica and at home against Dynamo Kiev, but last time out they pulled off the major victory at Napoli. The result leaves them second in the group table, one point behind Napoli and just one point over Benfica, so there's still plenty of work left to do before qualification.
Napoli are going through a rough patch, they lost four of their last six matches in all competitions. Last weekend they suffered a 2-1 defeat at reigning Serie A champions Juventus, a result that ended a hopeful-looking two-game winning streak for Maurizio Sarri and his men. Raul Albiol and Arkadiusz Milik are still injured and will not make the trip to Istanbul.
Probable line-ups:
Besiktas: Fabri - Beck, Tosic, Marcelo, Adriano - Hutchinson, Inler - Quaresma, Ozyakup, Sahan - Tosun
Napoli: Reina - Hysaj, Chiriches, Koulibaly, Ghoulam - Hamsik, Jorginho, Allan - Callejon, Mertens, Insigne
My prediction: 1-1 draw.
Here are the odds for the match at Bet365:
Besiktas win - 3.75
Draw - 3.50
Napoli win - 2.10
