New deal signed by UK bookie to upgrade Plaza Casino's Nevada sportsbook
Thanks to its ownership of Brandywine Bookmaking, UK bookmaker William Hill plc has leveraged its position in the United States and sealed an agreement to upgrade the land and mobile sports betting facilities at the Plaza Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
Based on the terms of the deal, the Plaza's sports book will see a series of upgrades, including new video displays and seating, as well as a redesign of the adjacent bar area. In adition, its customers will gain access to the latest Will Hill technology, such as its mobile sports wagering application – the only one approved in Nevada for use on iOS, Android and Blackberry devices.
“The Plaza race and sports book is known for its terrific customer service and wagering product. We look forward to enhancing the experience with an even better wagering product and great technology,” stated said William Hill US CEO Joe Asher, while Tony Santo, president of Play LV, operator of the Plaza Hotel and Casino, added that William Hill's technology will improve the customer experience at the venue.
