Brazilian superstar Neymar has apparently informed Paris Saint-Germain that he wants to switch clubs this summer, according to sources quoted by Sky Sports. Neymar had a meeting with PSG sports director Leonardo on Monday and made his feelings known, while the club are waiting for an offer that would be at least decent. The Brazilian forward has not told PSG where he would like to move. Last week Neymar failed to report for PSG's pre-season training and that increased the speculation regarding his future.
The most likely destination for the 27-year-old is his former club Barcelona, but PSG would like to get back a significant amount of the world record transfer fee of 222 million euros that they paid the Catalans for Neymar in 2017. The Brazilian star scored an impressive 34 league goals in 37 appearances during his two seasons at Paris Saint-Germain, but now he is unhappy in the French capital for some reason.
Spanish newspaper AS published a story claiming that Barcelona had offered 40 million euros plus two plauyers to Paris Saint-Germain for Neymar. Those two players would be fellow forwards Philippe Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele, players that PSG would want, but the French clubs also want a lot more money. It is believed that they want at least the 222 million they paid for Neymar two years ago, but Barcelona don't have that kind of money at the moment. The Blaugrana have already spent over 200 million pounds this summer on the arrivals of Antoine Griezmann, Frenkie de Jong, Neto and Emerson.
Neymar is now 4/7 at Betfair to join Barcelona by the end of the current transfer window and 11/8 to remain at Paris Saint-Germain.

To be honest I don't rate Neymar so high as many other people do so can't really understand why Barcelona are so keen (according rumors) to get him back...more so...
To be honest I don't rate Neymar so high as many other people do so can't really understand why Barcelona are so keen (according rumors) to get him back...more so they'd probably have to pay some silly money to do that. Looks like not only the player is keen to go but PSG want to get rid of him either, he wasn't even close to justify the ridiculous amount they've paid for him so I could understand why they want him out to at least cut their losses and probably even get some profit from a potential sale.
