Serie A champions Juventus and Premier Legue side Manchester United are discussing a possible swap deal which would see Paulo Dybala move to Old Trafford in exchange for Romelu Lukaku switching to Turin. Romelu Lukaku has been the subject of interest and also bids from Serie A side Inter Milan earlier this summer but the two clubs failed to reach an agreement. On the other hand, Manchester United are interested in Dybala, and that could potentially lead to a swap deal.
Paulo Dybala, the 25-year-old Argentinian forward that joined Juventus from Palermo in 2015, does not have a guaranteed place under new head coach Maurizio Sarri. Moreover, Dybala didn't get as much first-team football as he used to after the arrival of Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus in 2018. Last season Dybala scored 10 goals in 42 appearances for the Bianconeri, while during the 2017-2018 season he had scored 26 times in 46 appearances.
Manchester United have only signed two young players this summer, left winger Daniel James joined from Swansea and right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka was bought from Crystal Palace, while Antonio Valencia and Ander Herrera were allowed to leave the club. Signing Paulo Dybala would be a major coup for the Red Devils, but on the other hand losing Romelu Lukaku might be regarded as a defeat by some fans. United signed the 26-year-old striker from Everton for 75 million pounds two years ago and he scored 42 goals in 96 appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils.
Romelu Lukaku is now 4/11 at William Hill to move to Juventus this summer, while Paulo Dybala is 1/4 to join Man United.
