LaLiga: Barcelona reignite Neymar negotiations

LaLiga champions Barcelona have not given up on the possibility of bringing Brazilian superstar Neymar back to Camp Nou, they have sent a delegation to Paris to negotiate with the Ligue 1 champions. Technical director Eric Abidal, along with board member Javier Bordas, and Andre Cury are currently in Paris, where they should meet representatives from Paris Saint-Germain regarding Neymar's transfer. The Blaugrana are believed to be offering 100 million euros plus Philippe Coutinhom while PSG are looking to get as much as possible after having paid 222 million euros to Barcelona for Neymar in 2017.

Barcelona have been trying to offload Philippe Coutinho this summer due to his large salary, but so far they have been unable to find a suitable destination for the Brazilian attacking midfielder. On the other hand, Paris Saint-Germain are interested in Barcelona right-back Nelson Semedo, and the French giants are believed to be keen on introducing the Portuguese defender in any potential deal regarding Neymar.

Neymar has been asking to leave Paris Saint-Germain for a while now, he even missed pre-season training and was not included in the squad for the first two competitive matches of the season. Last week PSG opened the Ligue 1 season with a 3-0 victory over Nimes, and the fans made their feelings about Neymar abundantly clear. The fans sang songs and held banners telling the 27-year-old to "get out" and also calling him a "son of a b***h". Paris Saint-Germain sports director Leonardo admitted that they were looking to sell Neymar this summer, and Real Madrid also emerged as a possible destination.

Neymar is currently 4/11 at William Hill to join Barcelona this summer 7/2 to join Real Madrid and 16/2 to complete a move to Juventus.
